Saturday's Devo - Be Strong and Do Exploits

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and the that love it shall eat the fruit thereof." Pro. 18:21
This week our son, Daniel called to tell us he was sick. He had gone to the clinic and they said he had mono. That is not good for a football player fixing to start his season. They said he would have to not practice but he would be able to play in the first game. How do you get ready for a game if you can't practice? He was going to go to another doctor for a second opinion so Dave told him we would pray that the clinic misdiagnosed his illness and that he didn't have mono. He was sceptical but that didn't keep us from praying. He called back the next day and said the doctor told him the clinic misdiagnosed his illness and he only had a bad sinus infection. His spleen wasn't enlarged at all and he had no symptoms for mono. GO GOD!!!
I know that my son knows God can heal but when he heals you it brings the knowlegde to the heart. I wonder how many times just by stepping out and believing God we could see a miracle. I bet a lot. I pray for Holy Spirit boldness for the children of God. God wants us to be strong and do exploits.
