Read: 2 Sam 11
How many sermons have been preached about this chapter? I've heard my share so I decided to look at it from another angle: Bathsheba's. Did she know that David could see her from there? Did she entise and seduce him on purpose? If she did, she got more than she bargained for. Let's say she meant to entise David and wanted to sleep with him. God sees right through our smoke screens and right through to the truth. He sees us naked!!!...all the time!!! He saw Bathsheba naked and he knows if she was party to David's lust or innocent. I'm betting she is like you and me....guilty. Thank God we have a redeemer, Jesus Christ, who makes our scarlet sins pale to white. Thank you Jesus for your blood, your salvation, your truth, your...
