Wed.'s Devo - A New Wave is Coming

Read 1 Chron 15
There is no substitute for God's way. God had a way to transport his glory and it was through his priests, the Levites. There were 120 of them. There were 120 in the upper room when the Holy Spirit got out of the box and fell on the individual people. They sanctified themselves to bring the ark in to the city. All the musicians got in place to worship and praise God. So with much shouting, loud music, trumpets, cymbals, harps, dancing and sacrificing they ushered in the ark. What a picture of what it will look like when Jesus brings his presence to the world. Have you noticed the new music coming out? Group One Crew, Skillet, Toby Mac, Reliant K, to name a few. It is alive and inviting to the world. Once in we can give them some Lincoln Brewster, MercyMe, and Aaron Shuttes maybe, and maybe not. It doesn't matter what the beat is, it is the spirit that is drawing them. If we look out from our stained-glass church windows and judge this new move of God we will be like Michal who looked out her window and despised David because he unashamedly worshipped God. Can we lay down our religion for a new baptism of God's spirit? I pray we can.
