Fri.’s Devo - The Sixth Trumpet Part 2

Read Rev. 9:13-21 I want to talk again about the four angels. These four angels are released to bring divine wrath on Israel by the princes of Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome until the times of the Gentiles is complete (Luke 21:22; Daniel 9:24; and Acts 3:21). In a type, it ended when Daniel was taken out of the land to Babylon, and it will end when the end is here. These four princes and their vast army are supernatural forces (Daniel 10; Zech. 6) They will fight in the battle of Armaggedon. Their king will be Satan who is the angel of the bottomless pit. Abaddon is the name of a destroying angel (or demon). Apollyon identifies this destroying angel as Satan himself as identified in the 5th seal. This trumpet corresponds to the sixth church age, Philadelphia - the church of brotherly love. During this time, the believers on the earth will bind together like never before. They will need each other to survive. The mark of the beast will be in operation, so they will have no way to buy or sell. God will supernaturally provide for them. The few that survive will be the generation that doesn’t taste death. They will be on earth when Jesus returns. Others on the earth, who take the mark, will have hard hearts and they will keep doing their evil works. They will face judgment and have to account for their sins. Lord, I am so grateful for your blood that covers me and the little knowledge I do have of you. Increase our understanding and love for you.
