Sun.’s Devo - “Come!”
Read: Malachi 3:1-4:6; Revelation 22:1-21; Psalm 150:1-6; Proverbs 31:25-31
Malachi told them that the Lord of Heaven’s Armies was surely coming as their Messiah but he would send his messenger to prepare the way first. He would be a refining fire to purify the Levites so that they could offer pleasing sacrifices once more.
*** God will put on trial all sorcerers, adulterers and liars. Those who cheat their employees, oppress widows and orphans and deprive the foreigners of justice will be exposed. The hypocrite will ask why he needs to return to the Lord. God will answer that he and the whole nation cheated Him out of tithes. When they begin to tithe again, God will open the heavens to bless their crops and will keep them from disease.
*** The people had said it was useless to serve God because they saw the evil get rich, but a scroll of remembrance - a list has been made of all the people who feared him and honored his name. When God brings judgment, he will spare them and all will see the way God separates the wheat from the straw. The wicked straw will be burned up but the wheat will rise with joy and tread upon the wicked as if they were dust under their feet.
*** Before the dreadful day of the Lord, he will send Elijah the prophet to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers.
*** In Revelation, John had just been shown the holy city of Jerusalem and now he was taken to the river of life that flowed from the throne of God and the Lamb. It flowed down the center of the main street of Jerusalem. A tree of life stood on both sides and its leaves bore twelve crops of fruit during the year - one each month. The leaves were used for medicine to heal the nations.
*** The curse was gone from everything. God’s throne was there and his name was on the forehead of all the people. His light was the only light needed.
*** The angel told John not to seal up the prophetic words of this book but they would happen soon. Let people keep living like they are living for now. They will be repaid for all their deeds when He comes. Those who cleanse their lies will be rewarded and be permitted to enter the gates of the city and eat fruit from the tree of life. The immoral will live outside the city.
*** The Spirit and the bride invite others to come and drink from the water of life and have everlasting life. A curse would be given to anyone who tried to change what this prophecy said.
*** Jesus is coming soon and those who are faithful will welcome him with joy!
*** Lord may we, like the Proverbs 31 woman, carefully watch over everything in our household. May we laugh without fear of the future and one day be rewarded for all we have done for your kingdom. We say, “Come, Lord Jesus, Come!”

Sat.’s Devo - Your Kingdom Come!
Read: Malachi 1:1-2:17; Revelation 21:1-27; Psalm 149:1-9; Proverbs 31:10-24
Malachi was an unknown person who probably wrote during the time of Nehemiah to the people of Palestine. God’s people had returned to Jerusalem from bondage and fell to complacency and immorality. They had not learned from their past but were repeating it.
*** He begins by telling the people how much the Lord loves them. God chose Jacob but hated Esau and cursed the land of his inheritance. He blessed Jacob and blessed his inheritance which they were a part of. God called the land of Esau “The Land of Wickedness” and it will always be that way. People will see that and know that God extends his power beyond the boundaries of Israel.
*** Malachi lists Israel’s offenses.
1. They dishonored his name by offering defiled animals as sacrifices to him.
2. The priests accepted the maimed animals as fitting offerings to God.
3. The priests corrupted the teaching of the covenant causing many to stumble. They showed favoritism.
4. The men of Judah had defiled the Lord’s sanctuary by marrying women who worship idols, while still bringing offerings to the Lord.
5. They dishonored their marriage covenant with their wives and put them out without legally divorcing them. This left them penniless without hope.
6. They called evil good while praying for justice.
*** God made it clear what would happen to the ones who did this. They would not receive the favor they sought but instead they would receive the curse. The priests would be despised and humiliated in the eyes of all the people. The men who married idolatrous wives while bringing sacrifices to the Lord would be cut off from the nation of Israel. They had wearied the Lord with their hypocrisy.
*** In Revelation, John saw the refreshed earth and heavens. Jerusalem was now a holy city. God will tabernacle here. He will take sorry and death from them forever. This was the culmination of all God’s plan. The overcomes will inherit the earth.
*** The unbelievers and wicked will receive their inheritance which would be the second death in the lake of fire.
*** One of the seen angels took John to see the bride, the wife of the Lamb. She was the whole holy city of Jerusalem. She shone with God’s glory. She had God’s government and everything reflected heaven’s ways. He measured it and everything about it was according to God’s standards. All the tribes were represented and its gifts being used to benefit the others. The gems on the walls shone with the glory and colors of heaven. The gates of pearl represented the praises of his people. Everything from the walls to the streets reflected the glory of God and the glory of heaven. Heaven had come to earth at last.
*** There was not need for a Temple because the Lord was there and they could worship him forever. There was no need for the sun or moon because the glory of God illuminated the city and the Lamb was its light. The gates would never have to shut for fear of a raid. All the nations would be welcome. They would enter and bring their glory and honor into the city. Nothing evil would ever be allowed to enter nor any idolatry or dishonesty. Only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
*** What a glorious ending to this earth and all we have suffered for. Lord, we are so amazed at your great plan for us. May we bring your glory! We long to see your Kingdom come!

Fri.’s Devo - The End of Satan
Read: Zechariah 14:1-21; Revelation 20:1-15; Psalm 148:1-14; Proverbs 31:8-9
There will come a day when the nations would all gather to fight against Jerusalem. Jerusalem would be plundered and half of the people taken into captivity. The rest would be left to live among the ruins. God would go out to fight against those nations. His feet will stand on the Mt. Of Olives, east of Jerusalem and the mountain will split apart making a wide valley for the people to flee through. Then the Lord will return with his holy ones with him.
*** The sun and moon will not give light and yet there will be light all the time. Life-giving waters will flow out from Jerusalem continually all year long. The Lord will be king over all the earth and He will be the only Lord. The land all around Jerusalem will become a flat plain but Jerusalem will be lifted up and filled with people. They will live there in safety and blessings.
*** God will send a plague on all the nations that fought against Jerusalem and the people will become like zombies. They will fight their neighbors and their gold and silver and fine clothing will be captured. The plague will extend to their animals.
*** The ones who survive the plague will go up to Jerusalem each year to worship the King, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. Any nation that refuses to come will not get rain that year.
*** The horses will have the words “Holy to the Lord” on them. All the cooking pots in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. They will use these pots to boil their sacrifices in to the Lord.
*** In Revelation John saw an angel come from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit in one hand and a chain in the other. He seized the dragon and bound him in chains for a thousand years. He was thrown into the bottomless pit and the door shut and locked. Satan would not be able to deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were over. Then he would be released for a little while.
*** The martyrs of the world were given authority to judge from positions of authority. The rest of the dead did not come back to life.
*** When the thousand years is over, Satan will be let out of his prison to go try to deceive the nations called Gog and Magog. They will be gathered from the four corners of the earth for battle against Jerusalem and God’s people. But God will send fire from heaven and consume his enemies. Satan will be thrown into the fiery lake of burning sulfur, joining the beast and the false prophet. They will be tormented forever.
*** God will sit on his great white throne and the books will be opened. This is the Great White Throne judgment. Everyone will be judged throughout eternity. Those written in the Book of Life will be rewarded and those not written in the Book of Life will be judged according to their deeds. Death and the Grave will be thrown into the lake of fire along with anyone whose name is not in the Book of Life.
*** Lord, thank you for your plan. We have so many good things to look forward to. You are so good!

Thurs.’s Devo - The Victory is the Lords!
Read: Zechariah 12:1-13:9; Revelation 19:1-21; PSalm 147:1-20; Proverbs 31:1-7
This message was given to Zechariah to show him the fate of Israel. God would make Jerusalem so secure that the armies that came to attack her would only hurt themselves and eventually turn away in fear. Their weapons won’t work against Jerusalem. The armies of Judah will stand up and retaliate burning up all the nations near them. The people will rise up and fight for their nation and defend their land as well as their leaders. It will be a consolidated effort.
*** God will pour out a spirit of grace and prayer on the family of David and on the people of Jerusalem. They will look upon the Lord and mourn that they lost him. It will be like they lost their first born son. They will mourn the fact that they turned away from God as a nation and as an individual. The fountain of salvation will be opened to them and they will be saved and cleansed from all their sins.
*** Idol worship will be taken from the land. False prophecies will not be allowed to be given. Hypocrisy and deception will not be allowed to deceive the people.
*** Many will die during that time, but God’s remnant will survive and be refined through God’s fire of cleansing. They will call on the Lord and he will call them his people.
*** In Revelation, Babylon fell and the crowd in heaven shouted praises to the Lord. Finally, the murder of all the saints was avenged. Their worship was joined with the worship and praise of the 24 elders and the four living creatures that stand around the throne of God.
*** Then came the shout announcing the time of the wedding feast had come and the bride was ready. She had been given pure white linen to wear which represented the good deeds of God’s holy people.
*** Then Jesus came forth on a white horse. His name is Faithful and True. He will judge fairly and wage a righteous war. His robe is dipped in blood and his title is the Word of God. His army followed him on white horses. He will be sent to release the wrath of God on the wicked of the earth.
*** Another banquet was announced. It was the banquet for the vultures. They are sent to eat the flesh of the kings, generals, and warriors, and all humanity who followed the beast. They meet to war against God’s army and they will lose. The beast will be captured along with the false prophet and their army. The vultures will gorge themselves on their dead bodies. In other words, they will have their day in court and lose.
*** Praise the Lord! God, your power is absolute and your understanding beyond comprehension!

Wed.’s Devo - Babylon Has Fallen!
Read: Zechariah 10:1-11:17; Revelation 18:1-24; Psalm 146:1-10; Proverbs 30:33
The Lord continued his message from yesterday’s Chapter 9. He told the people to ask HIM for the rain in the spring instead of their household gods, fortune tellers and interpreters of dreams. God was the only one who could make rain. God complained against the shepherds who were not leading the people. God would punish the leaders and He would be their shepherd. He would make Judah strong and glorious. With God leading them into battle, they will win. He would take the remnant and bless them to become a great nation again. God would judge Assyria and Lebanon and their shepherds would be destroyed.
*** God told Zechariah to go and be the shepherd for the sheep that were intended for slaughter. They were oppressed by their leaders. He took two staffs and name one Favor and the other Union. He got rid of their three evil shepherds in weeks. But the people hated Zechariah, too. Zechariah lost patience with them and gave up being their shepherd. He told them they were one their own. To show this, he took the staff he had called Favor and cut it in two showing the covenant that he had made with all the nations was broken. He told them they could give him his wages if they wanted to. They gave him 30 pieces of silver. God told him to throw it to the potter. Then the told Zechariah to cut the staff called Union in two showing that the bond of unity between Judah and Israel was also broken. Then he told Zechariah to go and play the part of the worthless shepherd. He stopped caring for those who were dying, hurt, young or hungry. God said that this is how the shepherds would treat them. They would devour the healthy and not care for the injured. He issued a statement about the sorrow that would await the shepherd who acted like that.
*** In Revelation the cry went out that Babylon had fallen! Babylon had become the home of demons and a hideout for every foul vulture and animal. All the nations and been affected by her immorality. The kings of the world had enjoyed her evil pleasures and the merchants had grown rich over her wares. This sounds like America and Washington D.C. It has housed pedo parties and been a hideout for money-laundering, sex-trafficking, and drugs… just to name a few of their sins.
*** A voice from heaven called to the people not to take part in Babylon’s sins or they will be punished also. She will receive twice the penalty she did to others. She caused terror on others (think of the Covid scare) and glorified herself and lived in luxury. (They made millions off of closing businesses and funneling people to their big stores. They made millions off of the vaccines which only killed more people.) But, their day of reckoning is coming. Their luxury will be matched with torment and sorrow. The plagues they put on others will be put on them and overtake them in a single day. They will experience death, mourning and famine.
*** The leaders of other nations will watch in horror as they see the judgment falling. The big businesses will watch in terror and the international traders will watch from their cities as they see the smoke from Babylon’s destruction. Their sources of wealth are gone.
*** God tells heaven and the people of God to rejoice over her fate for at last God has judged her for their sakes.
*** The mighty angel picked up a bolder and threw it into the sea and said that the evil Babylon system would be thrown down as fast and thoroughly destroyed just like that boulder. It would never rise again.
*** Lord, we look forward to the day that we will be rid of the evil leaders and the evil things they do. We look forward to righteous leaders and justice. May earth reflect your Kingdom in heaven.

Tues.’s Devo - The Goodness of God
Read: Zechariah 9:1-17; Revelation 17:1-18; Psalm 145:1-21; Proverbs 30:32
Zechariah is given a message against he land of Aram and its capital Damascus. These lands of the north that had ruled the commerce of the world will be burned to the ground. Then the cities of the Philistines in the south will see what happened to the cities in the north and be filled with fear. They will fall and be driven from their land.
*** While the earth is being overran by foreigners, God will protect Jerusalem and make sure that no more foreigners oppress his people. His kingdom will stretch from sea to sea and from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth. Those in prison will be set free to come home. If they do come back to Jerusalem, God will repay them double for their pain. God will use his people to fight against the Greeks and defeat them in the spirit. God’s Armies from heaven will protect his people and defeat their enemies.
*** When God rescues his people, they will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown and their young men and women will thrive in abundance.
*** In Revelation the seven angels have poured their bowls on the earth and John was taken to see the judgment that was coming to the prostitute who ruled over the sea of humanity and all the kings who had joined in her evil worship of idols.
*** This evil system of idolatry was going to reappear on the earth and has in our day. In their day, they represented the seven kingdoms of the earth. Egypt, Babylon, Media, Persia and Greece had fallen. The Roman Empire was still standing in John’s time and the Holy Roman Empire had not yet come. The eight kingdom would be the New World Order that we are fighting which is headed for destruction. The ten horns could be the divisions that the United Nation has divided the world into. They will agree to join together and will fight against anyone who stands against them. That would be us! That would be those who follow the Lamb. That would be Israel.
*** The good news is that the leaders of the New World Order and the people who have been made rich by being used by the New World Order do not get along. The masterminds of the plan hate them because they are a bunch of rich babies which the Scarlet beast (NWO) and his ten horns have used for their selfish purposes. When they have no more need for them they kill them.
*** Lord, thank you that we are watching their kingdom fall and your kingdom rising. Thank you for the great harvest of souls that is coming and is here right now. Thank you for waiting up your children to the war we are in. Thank you that you train our hands for battle and you fight with us. Thank you that your plan is victory!

Mon.’s Devo - It Is Finished
Read: Zechariah 8:1-23; Revelation 16:1-21; Psalm 144:1-15; Process 30:29-31
God came to Zechariah and declared his great passion for Jerusalem. He spoke of the day he would tabernacle with them. Jerusalem would be called the Faithful City and the mountain of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies would be called the Holy Mountain.
*** Once again old men and women will walk Jerusalem’s streets and children will play in the streets with no fear of harm. God will gather his people from where they have been scattered and they will be his people.
*** God encouraged them to finish the task of rebuilding the Temple. Where there had been lack and upheaval, God was bringing peace and prosperity. The earth will respond and produce heavy crops. Heaven will respond and bring rain and dew. God’s people will inherit blessings. Israel would no longer be known as a cursed nation but a source of blessing. So, he urged them to be strong and get on with rebuilding the Temple.
*** As determined as God was to punish a rebellious nation, he will be determined to bless this godly nation. In response, they must speak truth, render just verdicts in court and stop scheming against each other, and stop being deceptive.
*** This is cause people from all around the world to desire to travel to Jerusalem to be blessed and worship the Lord. People will want to walk with those who know the Lord
*** In Revelation, the angels holding the bowls of wrath leave the Temple in heaven. The first angel poured out his bowl and horrible, malignant sores broke out on everyone who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his statue. The second angel poured out his bowl on the sea and everything in the sea died. The third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs and they became blood. This was payment for all the blood of God’s holy men that they shed. The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun and it scorched people so much that they cursed the Lord. But, they refused to repent and turn to the Lord. The fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. They cursed God and still refused to repent. The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the Euphrates River and it dried up so the kings from the east marked toward the west without any problem. Evil spirits that looked like frogs kept from the mouths of the dragon, the beast and the false prophet. They were demonic spirits that did demonic miracles and gathered the nations together for battle against the Lord on the great judgment day. They gathered them all to a place called Armageddon. God said he would come on them unexpectedly like a thief. Sounds like an ambush to me!
***The seventh angel poured out his bowl and there came a shout from the Temple in heaven that said, “It is finished!” Thunder crashed and lighting flashed and the earth shook. Babylon was split into three sections and the cities of many nations tell into ruin. Every island disappeared and all the mountains were leveled. Hailstones weighing up to 75 pounds fell to the earth and the people cursed God.
*** Notice that this is not happening to the godly people in Jerusalem but to the ungodly people in Babylon and the high and mighty of the earth.
*** Lord may we be alert and build your kingdom on the earth.
*** Merry Christmas! It is my prayer that you have peace in your family and hope for a great future that God has prepared for each of us. May his light illuminate your path and lead you today and throughout the rest of your lives.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Sun.’s Devo - God’s Righteous Plan
Read: Zechariah 6:1-7:14; Revelation 15:1-8; Psalm 143:1-12; Proverbs 30:24-28
Zechariah had just been shown the basket of Wickedness that was taken to Babylon. Then he saw two bronze mountains. Between them came four chariots pulled by horses. The first horses were red, the second chariot was pulled by black horses, the third had white horses and the fourth by powerful gray horses. Zachariah asked what they meant and the angle said they were the four winds of heaven who stood before the Lord of all the earth. They were each going in a different direction. The black to the north, the white was going west and the gray was going south. It does’t say, but I assume the red was going east. They were going out to patrol the earth. The black horse went north to Babylon and used Nebuchadnezzar to vent God’s anger on the earth. He brought sorrow and famine. When that time came to an end, thee white horse would come bringing joy and victory. Darius came from Medio-Persia and became the next kingdom to rule. He allowed them to begin building the Temple again. The gray horse stood for the other great power in the earth which was Egypt. It was a mixture of prosperity and adversity.
*** Zechariah received a message that Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah would bring gifts of silver and gold from the Jews exiled in Babylon. He was to take these metals and make double crowns to put on Jeshua’s head. They were to show that he was not only the political leader but the priestly leader also. God called him the Branch because he would branch out from where he was and build the Temple of the Lord. He would be priest and king. People would come from distant lands to rebuild the Temple of the Lord . When he sees this happening he will know that this message has been from God.
*** During Darius’ reign, the people of Bethel sent Sharezer and Regemmelech to ask the priests and prophets if they still needed to fast for the fall of Jerusalem since they were rebuilding it now. The Lord’s answer came in a question: “Was it really me you were fasting for?” Then he told them what really mattered to the Lord and that was to judge fairly, show mercy and be kind to one another. They were not to oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and the poor. And, they were to stop scheming against one another. This is what their ancestors could not hear or do, but that was why they had to go into exile and the nation was turned into a desert.
*** In Revelation, John sees the seven angels which were holding the seven last plagues which would complete God’s wrath. He was shown the overcomes of Christ who sang with harps the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. They sang, “Great and marvelous are your works, O Lord God, the Almighty. Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations, Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed.”
*** Then the doors of God’a Tabernacle were thrown open and the seven angels holding the seven plagues same out of the Temple. The Temple was so full of smoke from God’s glory and power and no one could enter the Temple until the seven angels had finished pouring out their bowls of the seven plagues of the wrath of God.
*** Lord, may we be about the rebuilding of your Temple on this earth. Show us our part and may we love justice, act fairly and have love for everyone.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Sat.’s Devo - We Are God’s Witnesses on the Earth
Read: Zechariah 4:1-5:11; Revelation 14:1-20; Psalm 142:1-7; Proverbs 30:21-23
Zechariah was shown the same vision John was shown in Revelation. Both saw the gold lamp stands which stood for the seven churches that described the timeline of the Church from the time of the cross till the time of his coming. In Revelation 11 the two olive trees stood for the prophets of two lamp stands. They had the power to bind and loose on earth and in heaven. This was the same power that was mentioned in the message to the Church at Philadelphia. Zechariah was told that the two olive trees stood for the two anointed ones who stand in the court of the Lord of all the earth. Isaiah 43 tells us that we are God’s witnesses on the earth. Our witness is that He is the only God.
*** The verdicts comes in the picture of a flying scroll. It is 30 feet long and 15 feet wide. On side gives the sentence of what will happen to those who steal. They will be banished from the land. The other side says that those who lie in court will be banished form the land. That sentence which is God’s curse will remain in the house of those who are guilty - it will be completely destroyed.
*** I can’t help but think of all the newscasters and Congressmen who have lied about Trump and so many other things. May they be sent to GItmo. And, all the laws the Federal Reserve has issued to steal our hard-earned money. And the CIA, FBI, CDC, WEF, WHO… the list goes on and on. May they all be sent to Gitmo.
*** Next, Zechariah was shown a basket full of the sins of the people. When the cover was lifted a woman was sitting in it whose name is Wickedness. He pushed her back in and closed the lid. Two women flew in and lifted the basket and took it to the land of Babylonia. There they would build a temple for the basket and when the finished the temple, they would put it on a pedestal.
*** In Revelation, we find the reward for the saints who endured this sinful time. These pure and perfectly cleansed people were given the number 144,000 which is a governmental number: 12 times 1,000. The blood of Jesus had cleansed them from their sins and they had faithfully followed Him.
*** An angel flew through the sky announcing the time of judgment. Another angel announced that Babylon had fallen. A third angel announced that whoever worships the beast and his statue or accepted his mark on their foreheads or hand must drink the wine of God’s anger. They will be tormented with holy fire in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb.
*** God’s holy people must endure persecution with patience for they will be blessed. When they die, they will rest in peace.
*** John saw a white cloud with the Son of Man sitting on the cloud wearing a gold crown with a sharp sickle in his hand. An angel from the Temple came and shouted to him to swing the sickle and harvest the earth. The whole earth was harvested. Two other angels came with sickles and reaped the ones who were ripe for judgment. They would receive God’s wrath. *** Lord, may we remain your faithful witnesses in persecution and stand unashamed of the gospel of Christ.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. He loves to reveal his mysteries with us. I pray that I will rightly divide the truth so that others might love his word like I do. I pray that God will be magnified in your life as you read my blog.

Fri.’s Devo - The Lord’s Agenda
Read: Zechariah 2:1-3:10; Revelation 12:18-13:18; Psalm 141:1-10; Proverbs 30:18:20
Zechariah saw the man with the measuring line again and asked him where he was going now. He told him he was going to measure Jerusalem. This angel met another angel who told them that Jerusalem would someday be so full of people and livestock that there wouldn’t be enough room for everyone. Many would have to live outside its walls but God would be a wall around them to protect them. The angel called those who had scattered to Babylon to come home.
*** This angel had been sent to plunder the nations who had plundered Jerusalem. God told him to shout and rejoice over Jerusalem and say that God was coming to live among them. Other nations would come and join themselves to Israel.
*** Zechariah was shown Jeshua who was the high priest. He was being accused by Satan but the Lord told Satan, “I, the Lord, reject your accusations against Jeshua. He is like a burning stick that has been snatched from the fire.”
*** Jeshua was standing in filthy clothes until the angel told the ones standing around him to talk off his filthy clothes. He told Jeshua that he was given him clean garments. If he would walk in God’s ways and carefully serve him then he would be given authority over his Temple and courtyards. He would walk among angels. He would be a symbol of things to come. He was a first fruit of the Body of Christ, the kingdom of priests.
*** The Lord told him that too he would send the righteous Branch, Jesus. He set before Jesus a single stone with seven facets. This is the seven spirits of God. God would engrave an inscription on it and remove the sins of this land in a single day. He did that on the cross. On that day there would be peace among the nations.
*** In Revelation, we have Jesus’ counterpart - the dragon. He stood on the shore as a beast rose out of the sea. The beast had seven heads and ten horns with ten crowns on its horns. Written on each head were the names that blasphemed God.
This beast rises out of the sea of humanity is the political system that uses the United Nations, The World Economic Forum and other hideous entities to unite and divide us - but mainly control us. They have used their tactics to bring Satan’s agenda in the seven mountains of society: government, education, media, business, family and the arts and entertainment.
*** The beast that came from the sea would use maritime laws to enslave us and trick us. The dragon on the land would use religious laws to control us. He was only given authority to deceive for a limited time.
*** The beast that came out of the earth stood for the religious system of control. It had horns like those of a lamb but it spoke with the voice of a dragon. (It was a mix of lamb and dragon - deception) It had power over the political beast and made the people worship the political beast.
*** We have seen this happen during Covid. The churches were shut down for Covid because that was the political agenda. They kept telling us to “Trust the science”… In other words “Worship the Beast”. They have done miraculous signs in the heavens through HAARP and brought lightning down and created storms. They have given their agenda a voice on every main stream media outlet. They have put their number on everything! Every logo of every Satan owned company all trace back to their esoteric Satanic symbolism. We have been inundated with 666. It is time for God to act and he is!!!
*** We pray our Psalm today that you would hurry and hear our cry for help. Your are our help and refuge. Let the wicked fall into their own nets, but let us escape. We trust in your agenda which is always victory!
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Thurs.’s Devo Salvation Has Come!
Read: Zechariah 1:1-21; Revelation 12:1-17; Psalm 140:1-13: Proverbs 30:17
Zechariah was born in Babylon and returned to Jerusalem during the reign on Darius to encourage Zerubbabel and Joshua in the rebuilding of the Temple. He was both a priest and and prophet. His name means “One who God remembers”. God is telling his people that he remembers the promises he gave to them and he is going to fulfill them.
*** He began by reminding the people of the words of other prophets through the years that told the people to return to the Lord and he would return to them. If they would remember Him, he would remember them. Everything he said through the prophets was about to happen. The people got what they deserved and now it would be a time of healing and rebuilding.
*** Three months later, Zechariah had a vision where he saw the four horses of Revelation. The horse in the forefront was the red horse. In Revelation, he was the one given power to take peace from the earth. In this vision he was the one announcing that the whole earth was at peace. These four horses constantly patrol the earth.
*** God said that though He had punished Israel for 70 years, their enemies inflicted harm on them far beyond his intentions. So, God had returned to show mercy on Jerusalem. She would overflow with prosperity and be comforted. Zechariah was shown four horns which the angel explained were the four horns that scattered Judah and Israel. God would send blacksmiths to terrify and destroy them.
***John was shown what was going to happen in the heavens,. There was going to be a great war over the birth of a son. God would prepare a place for woman to hide until she birthed the son would would rule all the nations with an iron rod. She was to be cared for for 1,260 days. Michael led the Lord’s angels in the battle against Satan and his hordes. Michael won and Stan was thrown down to the earth with all his angels. The accuser of the brethren could no longer accuse the saints before God. God’s people had overcome his accusations by the blood of the Lamb and by their testimony. And the factor that they were not afraid to die for their love of Christ. Terror would come to the earth because Satan will be very angry.
*** When the dragon realized he had lost his authority in heaven, he went after the woman who had given birth to the male child. She was given wings to fly to that place in the wilderness that God had prepared for her.
*** The dragon tried to drown her with the flood of water that came from his mouth. He declared war on all of her children.
*** We are seeing this so obviously right now. Satan has lost the battle in heaven and now he is so angry he is venting all his failure on the body of Christ. His water is nothing but lies. He lies about everything and blames God’s people for everything. Everything he says is a lie. He is desperate. But, we can rejoice because at last, salvation and power and the Kingdom of ou God and the authority of his Christ has come! Hallelujah!!!
*** May we defeat Satan by the blood of the Lamb, our testimony and our sacrificial living.

Wed.’s Devo - Rebuilt God’s Temple
Read: Haggai 1:1-2:23; Revelation 11:1-19; Psalm 139:1-24; Proverbs 30:15-16
The prophecies of Haggai were devoted to getting the people to start again building God’s Temple. Cyrus had given them the money and commission to go back home and rebuilt the Temple to God. But, they had met so much opposition that they finally stopped all together and began building their own mansions thinking that maybe they were suppose to wait for the 70 years before they rebuilt.
*** God sent Haggai to tell them that it was time to stop being so selfish and put the Lord first and then he would bless all the work of their hands.
*** Their harvests had been less than expected and it was getting worse. It was the Lord who was causing this because they had forgotten him and the plan. The plan was to build back the worship of the only true God.
*** Haggai’s words stirred the hearts of Jerusalem’s governor, Zurubbabel and the high priest, Jeshua. God encouraged them to be strong because He was with them and would help them.
*** God asked them if they touched something clean would it make it unclean and the answer was “Yes”. Then he asked them if they touched something unclean would it make it clean and they said, “No”. Haggai said that that was what was happening to them. Everything they were offering to the Lord was defiled by their sin. God wanted them to mark the day they began to rebuild the Temple because that was the day that God would begin to bless everything they did. Not only that, God was about to shake the heavens and the earth and overthrow royal thrones and destroy the power of foreign kingdoms. God would overturn their power and give his leaders the authority.
*** In John, a measuring stick was given to him and he was told to go and measure the Temple of God, the altar and all its people. He was not to measure the people outside the court because they were to be turned over to the nations to be trampled on for 42 months. God will empower two of his witnesses to prophesy during that time. These two witnesses were the two olive trees and the two lamp stands that stand before the Lord. We learned in the first chapter of Revelation that the lamp stands were the churches (1:20). I would guess that they would be the churches of Sardis and Philadelphia since Sardis was the persecuted and faithful ones and Philadelphia were the church of brotherly love. Olive trees are for healing and boy do we need healing in the body of Christ!
*** When their testimony is complete, the beast will declare war against them and kill their voice. Their followers will celebrate their death for figuratively, three and a half days. Then God will breath life back into those churches and they will come to life again. They rise up and take the seats of authority and everyone will see it.
*** Next we see the judgment of God hitting those who were in authority as God shakes the earth. As the seventh angel blows his trumpet, loud voices in heaven shout, “The world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ and he will reign forever and every.”
*** Heaven rejoices because God has now begun to reign on earth as he has in heaven. It is time to judge the dead and reward his servants who were faithful and honored his name from the least to the greatest. Now it is time to destroy those who had destroyed all the earth and God’s people. Then it was just like what happened on Mt. Sinai and at the cross: lighting, thunder and an earthquake. A terrible hailstorm also.
*** Lord, may we continue to be faithful witnesses of your light and your truth. May we collectively rebuild your Temple on earth as it is in heaven.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Tues.’s Devo - The Good News!
Read: Zephaniah 1:1-3:20; Revelation 10:1-11; Psalm 138:1-8; Proverbs 30:11-14
In Zephaniah”s day Josiah was reigning. He would be the Judah’s last good king. While he tried to lead his nation back to God, the people refused to follow his lead. Zephaniah was sent to warn the people of the coming Assyrians which came during the reign of Jehoiakim. The Assyrians would wipe the wicked from the face of the earth. Judah and Jerusalem would be destroyed along with every trace of their Baal worship. Their idolatrous priest would be destroyed and those who used to worship God but then sacrificed their children to Molech. All the leaders who chose to worship pagan gods would be punished.
*** Business men would be judged and their property taken and the houses ransacked. All their hard work would be for nothing. Even strong men would cry. All the walls of security would be taken down. All their money would not be able to save them.
*** Habakkuk warns them to repent before judgment comes so that maybe God would protect them during this time of judgment.
*** The Philistine strongholds of Gaza, Ashkelon, Ashdod ad Akron would be torn down. The lands of Moab and Ammon will be destroyed like Sodom and Gomorrah. They had taunted the Lord’s people Their land would become a place of thorns, salt pits and eternal desolation. God’s remnant would plunder their land.
*** God would destroy all the gods of the land and the nations will worship the Lord each in their own land.
*** The Ethiopians would be slaughtered. Ethiopia means “black” as in evil. Assyria would become a place of ruins for the wild animals to live in. It would become a place of ridicule and shame.
*** Jerusalem had become rebellious and polluted with violence and crime. Its leaders were like roaring lions hunting for a prey. Its judges were like wolves hungry to devour. The prophets were arrogant liars working to get rich. The priests defiled the Temple by disobeying God’s instructions. But in spite of all this, God was there handing down justice.
*** God had wiped out other nations hoping that the remaining nations would see this and repent but they did’t. God will have to pour out his fury on them. God will remove all the proud and arrogant from their land and rid then of haughtiness. Those that survive will be humbled and trust in the name of the Lord. They will tell the truth and honor one another, They will live in safety and peace.
*** God will tabernacle with them. This is the last feast that has to manifest on the earth. It is the Feast of Tabernacles when God comes down to tabernacle and live with his people. Our troubles will be over and we will never live with the fear of disaster. We will not live in fear but God will rejoice over us with joyful songs. We will not be disgraced any more. God will deal severely with all our enemies and gather his faithful together. He will bring the true Jews home to their land and give them a good reputation among the nations. Woo Hoo!
*** In Revelation, John meets an awesome mighty angel whose face was lit with the sun and he was surrounded by a cloud with a rainbow over his head. He had his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land. He shouted and the seven thunders answered. John was told not to write down what the seven thunders said, The angels said there would be no more delay to God’s plan. It would all come to an end when the seventh angel blew his trumpet.
*** John was given a small school and told to eat it. It would be sweet to his mouth but bitter to his stomach. Then he was told that he would have to prophesy to many people, nations, languages, and kings. It will be sweet to be a spokesman for the Lord but what he has to say will make him sick to his stomach.
*** Lord, thank you for your marvelous plan. May we be bold and speak your word even if it is a hard word. May we be obedient to your voice today.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Mon.’s Devo - Victroy is the Lord’s
Read: Habakkuk 1:1-3:19; Revelation 9:1-21; Psalm 137:1-9; Proverbs 30:10
Habakkuk means “to embrace a struggle for the country’s good”. We could say that about what we are called to do right now in America.
*** The law had become perverted and there was no justice in the courts. God was raising up the Babylonians to come and bring his judgment. They have no fear of kings and princes. They are strong and their strength is their god. Their arrogance will hurt them in the future but right then, God would use their strength for his own plans.
Habakkuk asked God if he would let the wicked Babylonians destroy people who were not as wicked as they were. Would they succeed forever? The Lord answered Habakkuk and told him that what he saw would surely happen soon. Then he described the sins of the Babylonians. They were proud and arrogant. They were greedy and had built their houses on murder and extortion. They swindled their own neighbors and gloated over their downfall. They would not go unpunished. In due time, they would receive payment for their sins also. They had trusted in silly idols made of stone and overlaid with gold and silver. These lifeless objects would not be able to help them.
*** Habakkuk sang a son about what he had heard about the Lord. He was awesome and his works amazing. Habakkuk saw the Lord coming with salvation. In the day of the exodus, God judged the world with plagues and pestilence but he delivered his people with his power. God crushed the heads of the wicked and stripped them of their weapons. When Habakkuk saw this revelation he shook in fear of God. He rejoiced in the Lord who is the God of his salvation.
*** In Revelation, John makes sure that the people reading it realize that these horrible things were against the people who didn’t have God’s seal on their hearts. With the fifth angel the bottomless pit was opened and all sorts of locusts descended on the earth to harm God’s enemies. O’bama opened the bottomless pit at Cern, Switzerland in his presidency. He assured an order saying that the media would not be prosecuted for saying lies. This opened up lying locusts to devour the people with fear, intimidation and lies. He and his cronies are now going to reap the result of God’s judgment. Their finances and wealth is being eaten away by the things they brought upon themselves. These locusts look like the United Nations police. Everything they are doing will backfire on them.
*** The sixth angel sounded and a voice was heard from the four horns of the gold altar that stands in the presence of god. This is the altar of incense… our prayers. It called for the release of the four angels who were bound at the great Euphrates River. I wonder if these aren’t the four living creatures who were guarding the gate to the Garden of Eden. Genesis tells us there were two angels but they have four sides. They come to our rescue against this one world government we have been fighting. They are joined with 200,000,000 warriors or Christian fighters. If there are 7.7 billion people on the earth right now, this sounds more like Gideon’s army.
*** In spite of all that came against the wicked people of the earth, they still refused to repent and turn to God.
*** Lord, I thank you that victory is ours through your might and power. We will not bow to a government that is wicked and not of you. Thank you that the nations are yours and all you have created will one day worship you.

Sun.’s Devo - God is Good
Read: Nahum 1:1-3:19; Revelation 8:1-13; Psalm 136:1-26; Proverbs 30:7-9
Nahum was given a message to give to Nineveh 150 years after Jonah had prophecies to them to repent or be destroyed in 40 days. They had repented during Jonah’s day but had returned to their evil doings. God had given them their chance to change and they had not continued in righteousness. It was now time for vengeance.
*** God tells us who he is. He is a jealous God who is slow to get angry but when he is pushed to the limit he is powerful in his rage and revenge. He has the whole world at his disposal and will use it to punish evil.
*** God is also a god of goodness to those who put their trust in him. He is a refuge of safety for his people who draw near to him. But, no one who schemes against him will win. They will be struck down with a single blow. It doesn’t matter how many allies they have.
*** God promised to break off the Assyrian yoke off of his people’s necks and set them free. Their capital, Nineveh would be destroyed and never invade Israel again. God was sending an enemy against Nineveh to crush them.
*** Judah’s honor would be restored and they would once again prosper while Nineveh is plundered of all their treasures. She who was once the city of murder and lies - a faithless city. She enticed the nations with her beauty and taught them magic and enchantment but her vileness would be exposed for all to see.
*** The nations that they had plundered will rejoice to see Nineveh fall.
*** In Revelation, the Lamb broke the seventh seal and there was silence in heaven for about a half an hour. Something is up in heaven for all activity to stop. I think they stop to pray because it says that much incense is added to our incense which incense is a metaphor for prayer. Then war was waged from heave on the ungodly. It came down as thunder, lightning and earthquakes.
*** Then the seven angels prepared to blow their trumpets to warn the earth of the war that was coming up the earth. With the first blast the target was the earth, trees and green grass. This was a wake-up call to the righteous of what the wicked people have been doing. They have been manipulating our weather and causing great disaster on mankind. As they begin to lose control they are upping their game. One example of this was the 13 days straight of the hurricane in Houston. Some houses were reduced to ashes through their laser beams while other trees were left untouched. Trees and green grass also speaks of the powerful and wealthy. They would be the target of exposure.
*** The second blast caused a huge mountain top fire to be thrown into the sea. A third of the water in the sea became blood. One third of the living things in the sea were destroyed and one-third of the ships were destroyed. In all of the trumpets you will see the 33 percent. This is code for 33 degree masonry ,AKA: Illuminati, New World Order, Deep State, etc. This is a war against them and what they have done to the world. This second trumpet was again they trade and the money system. It is about to fail.
*** The third trumpet was blown and a great star fell from the sky. It was called bitterness and made the water bitter. They, our enemies will have to drink the water they have tried to poison us with. They have poisoned our food, medicine, land, and water and things are going to flip for them.
*** The fourth angel bless his trumpet and the wicked were judged for their lies about the sun, moon and stars. These evil people have polluted our air with Barium, Aluminum and other harmful chemicals which have affected the amount of sunshine that we get. How long has it been since we have had days of blue skies and bright sunshine? God speaks through his signs in the sky but when they are clouded out, we don’t get to see the stars and what God is saying.
*** An eagle was sent to cry out and warn the evil people of what will happen to them when the next three angels blow their trumpet.
*** Lord, your judgments are true and righteous all together. May we wake up to what you are doing on the earth.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Sat.’s Devo - God’s Hope in Judgment
Read: Micah 5:1-7:20; Revelation 7:1-17; Psalm 135:1-21; Proverbs 30:5-6
Micah begins telling the people of Israel to mobilize and prepare for an attack but in the middle of the warning he gives God’s rescue plan. A ruler would come from Bethlehem whose origins are from everlasting. He will come on God’s behalf. Of course, he is talking about Jesus.
*** Then he goes right back to telling them their fate at the time. The people of Israel were going to be abandoned to their enemies until Mary gives birth to the Saviour of the world. He will be Israel’s source of peace. God will rescue the remnant from the Assyrians when they invade their land and the remnant will be dispersed throughout the nations. They will be a blessing wherever they end up,
*** The day would come when God will destroy Jerusalem and put an end to all their witchcraft and idolatry. This happened when Jerusalem was destroyed and all but a few were taken captive to Egypt and Babylon.
*** God called them all to heaven’s court to be tried. His question to them was, “What have I done to you? What have I done to make you tired of me?” God had brought them out of Egypt and redeemed them from slavery. He had not allowed Balaam to curse them but had blessed them instead. He had done all he knew to teach them his faithfulness. They had tried to please him by offering sacrifices like the pagan did to their gods. But, God showed them what pleased him - it was doing good, loving mercy and walking humbly with him.
*** God was sending out his warning on the people of Jerusalem. They had become rich through extortion and violence. Their citizens were so used to lying that their tongues could no longer tell the truth. They refused to repent so God had to judge them. The blessings they had enjoyed were going to turn to lack. They would become an example to the other nations of how God judges sin. It would be a very confusing time when they wouldn’t know who to trust.
*** Micah speaks for the righteous when he says that his hope is in the Lord. God is his light and will pick him up if he falls. God will justify him in the presence of his enemies.
*** Israel’s cities would one day be rebuilt. God would shepherd his people and be their shelter. He will do for them what he did for his people long ago when he delivered them out of Egypt. He will pardon the guilt of the remnant and forgive their sins.
*** John saw the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and sea and saw the angel that stopped them until he could put God’s seal on the foreheads of his servants. He redeemed a vast number from every tribe.
*** The scene shifted and John was taken to heaven to see what happened to these people. They died in the tribulation but found salvation to live forever.
*** Lord, thank you that it always ends well for your people who choose you. We choose you today in all our doings. Make us aware of your presence and your voice.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Fri.’s Devo -Micah’s Prophecy
Read: Micah 1:1-4:13; Revelation 6:1-17; Psalm 134:1-3; Proverbs 30:1-4
Micah prophesied the same time as Isaiah and they both spent most of their time in Judah yet they included Israel in their prophecies. He prophesied during the reigns of Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah. Micah lived 20 miles from Jerusalem in Moresheth. His name means “He who is Like Yaweh”.
*** Micah told the people to listen because God was making accusations against them and he was coming to judge their rebellion. God claimed that Samaria was the center of idolatry in Israel and Jerusalem was the center of rebellion in Judah. He called the nations to repent and mourn their sins. God accused Lachish of being the first city in Judah to follow Israel’s rebellion.
*** God accused the people of fraud and violence. Their evil would be rewarded with evil. They would be disgraced and their enemies would rejoice over their downfall. God would give their land to the ones who betrayed them. Their enemies would divide up their land and they would have no say so in how the land was divided.
*** The people didn’t like the things that Micah was telling them and begged him to stop saying them. He told them that if they would only live righteously then he would have good things to say to them. His words were their own fault.
*** God always ends with a message of hope. He would gather Israel together one day. A leader would lead them out of exile back to their own land.
*** Micah accused the leaders of devouring the people and hating good and loving evil. They only turned to the Lord when they were in trouble. God would refuse to look at them because of the evil they had done.
*** The false prophets led God’s people astray lying to them. They were gave good prophecies to these who paid them the most. Their day was coming to an end. Gods justice was coming. God was tired of the leaders whose foundation was murder and corruption. They had a false sense of security. They would be reduced to ruins.
*** In the last days the most important place will be the Lord’s house. People will come from miles around to meet to worship the Lord. God will bring his justice. Instead of war their will be a harvest. Everyone will live in peace and prosperity and enjoy the fruit of their labors. Jerusalem will be the the royal city of God.
*** For a time, they will go into exile but then they will see the Lord crush the nations that were his enemy and the wealth of the nations will return to the Lord.
*** In Revelation, the Lamb broke the first of the seven seals on the scroll. John saw a white horse with a rider who carried a bow and wore a crown on his head. He won many battles and gained the victory. These four horsemen were evil principalities released on the earth. The first one brought lies and deceit that is why he was on a white horse and had a bow, but no arrows.
*** The second was on a red horse and its ride was given a sword and authority to take peace from the earth. He stood for war and death.
*** The third was on a black horse and he held a pair of scales. He brought famine and lack. The fourth was on a pale green horse and its ride had the name Death. His companion was the Grave. They were given authority to bring famine and disease over one fourth of the earth. We have lived through all of these in the past decades.
*** The fifth seal broke and the souls of all who had been martyred for the Word of God shouted for God to judge the people of the world and avenge their blood. A white robe was given to each of them and they were told to rest a little longer. There were more to be martyred. We are seeing this happen in our day. Many are being martyred for the cause of righteousness.
*** When the sixth seal broke and there was a terrible earthquake. The sun went dark and the moon turned red. The stars fell to the earth and the sky was rolled up like a scroll. All of the mountains and islands were moved from their places. This was a total change in the structure of power. I feel like we are witnessing that happen now was so many politicians are resigning or not running another term. The mountains of culture are shifting in power which is causing the earth to shake. The ones who have ruled for so long are panicking.
*** Lord, we acknowledge your hand upon the nations and rejoice in your judgements.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Thurs.’s Devo - God’s Great Mercy 12-14-23
Read: Jonah 1:1-4:11; Revelation 5:1-14: Palm 133:1-3; Proverbs 29:26-27
Jonah means a dove and his father’s name, Amittai means veracious; truthful and honest. So, Jonah was to be a messenger of truth. God chose him to go to the city of Nineveh and announce judgment against it because of their wickedness.
*** Nineveh was the capital of the Assyrian empire and was located on the shore of the Tigris River. It was huge, populous and wealthy. It was a place to be feared if you were called to go and tell it God’s judgement was coming.
*** Jonah ran from God and went the opposite direction. He hopped a boat going to Tarshish. God sent a violent storm to stop him in his tracks. It was so violent the sailors had to throw their cargo overboard and were calling out to their gods for help. They knew that Jonah had a god because he had told them he was running from him. The captain went down to find Jonah to tell him to pray also and found him asleep in the midst of the terrible storm.
*** This is the condition of Jonah - totally disconnected to what was going on. He needed a wake up call both physically and spiritually. The Lord is doing the same thing right now. There is a storm going on and we are being forced to wake up and pay attention and see what the Lord wants us to do.
*** Jonah knew exactly what brought the storm and how to fix it. He was the problem and they needed to throw him into the storm. They tried their best not to have to do that but when it became obvious they would all die if they didn’t, they threw him into the storm. He was giving his life for theirs. As soon as his body hit the water, the storm stilled. The men were in awe and worshipped the Lord.
*** God had prepared a fish for Jonah and he was swallowed by it for three days. He died and resurrected in that fish and repented. The fish threw him up on the banks of Nineveh and he began to preach that they would be destroyed in 40 days. Miraculously, they repented. They even dressed their animals in burlap.
*** Jonah was mad because now what he said wound’t happen and he would look like a fool and their enemies would live. Jonah pouted and sat in the wilderness. God provided the shade of a vine with big leaves, then he killed the plant and sent a hot wind. When Jonah was about to expire, God spoke to him about his attitude toward the plant and Nineveh. Jonah was sorry the plant had died and yet wanted 120,000 people to die. God felt sorry for the people. Wasn’t that more justified?
*** In Revelation John saw a scroll in the hand of God. There was writing on the inside and the outside and it was sealed with seven seals. The question was asked, Who was worthy to open it and read it. John wept because he thought there was no one worthy to do this but one of the elders told him to stop crying because the Lion of the tribe of Judah won the victory and he is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals.
*** When John looked he was Jesus as a Lamb that had been slaughtered. He had seven horns and seven eyes which represent the sevenfold Spirit of God. He stepped forward and took the scroll from the Lord and when he did all heaven began to worship him.
*** We say, Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to you O Lord and to our savior Jesus Christ forever and ever.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Wed.’s Devo - Our Awesome God
Read: Obadiah 1:1-21; Revelation 4:1-11; Psalm 132:1-18; Proverbs 29:24-25
An angel had been sent to the Assyrians to stir them up to come and deal with the Edomites. Edom was a very proud nation who were the descendants of Esau. Their capital was Bozrah and Petra was another big city in their region. Their land was mountainous and if you’ve been to Israel and traveled to Petra you saw that it was built high on a mountain.
*** God was about to reduce Edom greatly for all their pride and what they did to Israel. They had refused to let the Israelites pass through their land in the Exodus. They gloated over them and rejoiced with the people of Judah suffered misfortune. They spoke arrogantly about Israel when they were suffering. They seized their wealth and killed all who came through their land for refuge.
*** The table would be turned on them and all they did to God’s people would be done to them. They were a type of the Jews that crucified Jesus. Esau was Jacob’s twin and yet he became his enemy just as the Jews were Jesus’ brethren and became his enemy.
*** The Edomites would disappear from history but Jerusalem would continue forever. It would become a refuge for those who need a safe place. It would be a holy place. The people of Israel would one day return to their land and the Lord himself will be their king.
*** In Revelation, John sees a door open in heaven and he was inited to come up to heaven and see it. He saw the throne of God and God in all his glory sitting on the throne. The 24 elders were there surrounding the throne. Flashes of lightning and thunder came from the throne and he saw God’s menorah which represented the sevenfold Spirit of God. A sea of glass was in front of the throne. The four living beings were there who cried out “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty - who was, and is and is to come.”
*** When the four living beings did this, the elders fell down and laid their crowns before the throne crying out that God was worthy to receive glory and honor and power. What a sight to see!
*** Lord, you are majestic in your holiness and great and awesome in your power. We rejoice to have a great and loving God who is also a Father. Thank you for your lovingkindness to us.

Tues.’s Devo - God of Visions
Read: Amos 7:1-9:15; Revelation 3:7-22: Psalm 131:1-3; Provers 29:23
God gave Amos a vision where He sent locusts to devour the harvest. They ate every green plant in sight. Amos cried out to the Lord and said that Israel wouldn’t be able to survive this, so God relented.
*** God gave Amos another vision where a great fire burned up the entire land. Amos cried out again that Israel was too small to survive this, so God relented.
*** God then showed him another vision where the Lord was standing next to a wall with a plumb line. He was going to use it to see if the wall was still straight. He would use this plumb line on the people of Israel. They would not measure straight. God would completely destroy the dynasty of King Jeroboam because of the idolatry he led the people into.
*** Bethel was the place where one of the golden calves was worshipped. The priest there was Amaziah. When he heard what Amos was saying he told Amos to take his prophecies and leave Israel. He sent him back to Judah to make his money there being a prophet. Amos told him he was not a prophet by trade but a shepherd who kept sycamore-fig trees. Then he gave him another word for the king. The Lord said that his wife would become a prostitute in this city (Bethel) and his sons and daughters would be killed. His land would be divided up and he would die as an exile in a foreign land. The people of Israel would also go into exile far away.
*** Amos was given another vision. This time he was shown a basket of ripe fruit. God told him that Israel was like this basket of ripe fruit. They were ripe for punishment. Their singing would stop and many would die.
*** God listed their sins: they robbed the poor and trampled down the needy. They cheated the helpless and were dishonest in their businesses.
*** God would darken their day and turn their celebrations into times of mourning. They would mourn the bitterness of their lives. God would stop speaking to them and they would search everywhere for a prophet to give them news.
*** Amos was shown a vision where God was standing next to the altar in the Temple. At his word, the roof of the Temple fell on the heads of the people. God would kill with the sword those who survived and no one would escape. God would not completely destroy the family of Israel but he would shake it. When the time came, God would restore the fallen house of David and repair it. He would rebuild it to its former glory. The people would return and plant vineyards and gardens. They would be firmly planted in their own land and never be uprooted again.
In Revelation Joh wrote a letter to the angel of the church in Philadelphia. God had open a door for them that no one could close. God would show the people that belonged to Satan’s synagogue that they were liars. They said they were Jew but were not. They would be forced to bow down at their feet and acknowledge that the true Jews were the ones God loved. Because they had persevered these people, God would protect them when a greater time of testing comes upon the whole world. Those that are victorious would be be leaders in God’s kingdom and never have to leave the Temple. They will become citizens of God’s never Jerusalem that comes down from heaven. God will give them a new name.
*** The next letter was written to the angel of the church of Laodicea. They were the lukewarm church. They were satisfied with what they had and weren’t wanting more of God. They didn’t know they were naked, poor and blind and in need of God. God was giving them another chance to open the door and repent.
*** Lord, may we rightly discern the condition of our souls and the condition of the soul of our nation and allow your to purify us with your cleansing fire.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Mon.’s Devo - God is Justice
Read: Amos 4:1-6:14; Relation 2:18-3:6; Psalm 130:1-8; Proverbs 29:21-22
Amos doesn’t hold back. He calls the women fat cows because they oppressed the poor while lounging in their wealth and only thinking about feeding their own bodies and souls. They would soon be thrown from their fancy houses and led with hooks into exile.
*** They gave their sacrifices to the idols at Bethel and bragged about their giving. God had judged them with hunger and famine but they still refused to turn to the Lord. God stopped the rain and their harvests all dried up. He sent plagues to get their attention but they still refused to turn to him. He destroyed their cities and caused their young soldiers to die on the battle field.
*** Amos cried out to the people to stop worshipping at the pagan altars in Bethel, Gilgal and Beersheba but to no avail. They had twisted justice and hated honest judges. They trampled the poor, stealing their grain through taxes and unfair rent. For themselves, they built beautiful stone houses, but they will not live in them much longer.
*** There will be a show of open mourning when God’s judgement falls. They will want it to be the day of the Lord but they have no idea what they are asking for. The day of the Lord will be a day when it will be dark and hopeless without a ray of joy or hope.
*** God hates their hypocrisy and lies. They worship other gods along with worshiping him. It reminds Him of the children of Israel who he rescued out of Egypt and they worshipped Sakkuth, their king god and Taiwan their star God. They made images of what they thought these gods looked like when God was the King of Kings and the maker of the stars. Amos warns them of what is coming and tells them to do to other cities where God’s judgement has already fallen and observe. God was about to depopulate his family. This is what happens when justice becomes poison and righteousness is turned into bitterness. They could boast in their armies but one is coming they would not be strong enough to fight.
*** In Revelation, John is told to write to the church at Thyatira and tell them that God sees how they have grown in love, faith and service and how they have patiently endured. But, they had not gotten rid of the prophetess Jezebel. She teaches the people to commit sexual sins and to eat food offered to idols. Because she refuses to repent, she will suffer as well as her followers. Her children will die also as a sign of God’s judgment. There are those who have not followed this false teaching which they call the “deeper truths”. God encourages them to keep holding on to the end. They will be given authority over the nations.
*** To the angel of the church at Sardis, God said to wake up and return to him. If they don’t, God will come to them suddenly as a thief. The ones who were not doing evil, God promised them that they would walk with him in white because they would be found worthy. They will be announced as victorious and their names will never be erased from the Book of Life.
*** Lord, thank you for your wonderful promises to those who endure. May we patiently endure the tine we are living in. Thank you that you are at work judging evil and bringing in your Kingdom.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Sun.’s Devo - Judgment and Rewards
Read: Amos 1:1-3:15; Revelation 2:1-17; Psalm 129:1-8; Proverbs 29:19-20
Amos prophesied during the reigns of Uzziah or Judah and Jeroboam II of Israel. His name means “Burdern-Bearer”. He was a shepherd and only prophesied for two years. It was a time of great expansion and prosperity for both Israel and Judah but spiritually it was a tie of all-time low. Idolatry was rampant and immorality was widespread plus the judicial system was corrupt. The people thought that their prosperity was a sign of God’s blessing but Amos was sent to tell them it was not. God was not pleased and punishment was coming unless the nation changed their hearts and turned back to him.It was two years before the earthquake which would shake them all.
*** Amos, being a shephard himself began by saying the God would turn the lush pastures into dry grass. I guess he wanted to let them know that their sins was going to affect him greatly. Then, he began to specifically called the people out. He started with the people of Damascus. This was where King Hazael and King Ben-hadad lived. They would be slaughtered and be taken captives to Kit.
*** The Philistines of Gaza would be burned and slaughtered. They had taken whole villages into exile but few of them would survive God’s judgment.
*** The people of Edom had chased down the Israelis and shown no mercy so God would snd down fire on Team and the fortresses of Bosrah.
*** The people of Ammon attacked Gilead and ripped open pregnant women with their swords. God would send down fire on Rabat and its fortresses. Their king and his princes would go into exile.
*** The people of Moab desecrated the bones of Edom’s king bringing them to ashes. SO God would send down fire on their land and Kerioth would be destroyed. Their kings and princes would be destroyed.
*** The people of Judah rejected the instruction of the Lord and refused to obey his decrees. They had followed the same lies that deceived their ancestors. Their fortresses in Jerusalem would be destroyed.
*** Ans lastly, Israel had sinned by trafficking their own children and sexual perversion. Their worship was defiled and evil. They had seen how God destroyed the Amorites for them and rescued them from Egypt. God had raised up prophets and Nazarite from among them but they had not listened to them. They made the Nazarites drink wine and told the prophets to shut up. They would not escape what was coming.
*** God reminded Israel how he chose them among all the families on the earth to be his own people. They didn’t agree on God’s way and chose their own. God doesn’t do anything he doesn’t first tell his prophets so they can encourage or warn the people. They refused to listen. They had forgotten how to do right. They were wealthy from theft and violence. The enemy was coming and he would surround them and shatter all their defenses.
*** On the day God punishes Israel, he will destroy the pagan altars in Bethel and the horns of the altar would be cut off and fall to the ground. (The horns were a symbol of mercy.) The homes of the wealthy would all fall to the ground.
*** In Revelation, John was told to write a letter to the church in Ephesus. God had seen all their hard work and patient endurance. They had discerned the false apostles and had nothing to do with them. They also hated the doctrine of the Nicolaitans. God’s complaint against them was that they had lost the love for God and others that they first had. God told them to repent and go ack to doing good works or their lamp stand would be removed. The victorious ones would be given fruit from the tree of life.
*** The letter to the crush in Smyrna stated that God knew about their suffering and lack. There were those among them that claimed to be Jews, but were not. They belonged to the synagogue of Satan. Many of them would become martyrs but they would receive the crown of life.
*** The letter to the church in Pergamum said that God knew that Satan’s throne was there and yet they had not bowed to it. They refused to deny God even when their leader Antipas was martyred. God’s complaint against them was that they tolerated the false teachings of the day that led to idolatry.
*** Great promises were given to those who remained faithful.
*** Lord, thank you that your promises of faithfulness still remain. Our rewards far exceed any suffering we could endure on earth. Help us to keep our eyes on eternity.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Sat.’s Devo - Repent While There is Time
Read: Joel 1:1-3:21; Revelation 1:1-20; Psalm 128:1-6; Proverbs 29:18
Joel was calling Israel to wake up. They were under a curse and it was showing up everywhere. All of their blessings were diminishing and their nation was self-destroying. It was time to repent and realize their sins. He describes what is happening as if locusts have come like a flood and destroyed the land.
*** It is really the army of the Lord that is ascending upon the land. Hosea keeps crying out to the people to repent because he sees God’s army coming to tear down and destroy everyone in their path. Hosea hopes there is time to repent and that the people will want to repent.
*** The people will not repent and God will destroy them but when it looks like all is lost, he will turn things around. He will send rain and prosper their crops once again. The trees will once again be filled with fruit and the fields will yield good crops. God will pour out his Spirit upon all people and the younger generation will prophesy and the older generation will be given dreams and visions. Even the servants and women will be blessed with spiritual knowledge and blessings.
*** It will be a terrible day for everyone who does not call upon the name of the Lord. All the nations of the world will be gathered to the valley of Jehoshaphat to be judged for harming God’s people. They will face an angry God but those who were faithful to him will receive their reward. They will be restored to blessing and the curse they were under will fall on their enemies.
*** God calls out to the wicked nations to get ready for war. They will meet in the valley of Jehoshaphat where they will war with God, himself. The sun and moon will grow dark and the stars will not shine. They will shake under the voice of the Lord.
*** Egypt will become a wasteland and Edom a wilderness because they had attacked the people of Judah, but Judah will be filled with people forever and Jerusalem will endure through all generations God will forgive their sins and make his home with his people.
*** Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ and who he is. The events in this book will happen suddenly and quickly. God sent an angle to give this revelation to John while he was a prisoner on the island of Patmos. It is a letter to the seven churches that were in operation in the province of Asia.
*** When Jesus comes again he will come in the clouds and everyone will see him. Israel will see him and all the nations will mourn for him.
*** In John’s vision he heard a voice of that was loud like a trumpet and it told him to write everything he saw in a book and send it to the seen churches in Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea.
*** John was able to turn and see the one who was talking to him and when he did, he saw Jesus in his glorified body and he fell at his feet. Jesus laid his right hand on him and told him not to be afraid. He was the First and the Last. He was the one who died and came back to life and now holds the keys of death and the grave.
***The seven stars he saw in Jesus’ right hand were the angels of the seven churches. The seven lamp stands were the seven churches.
*** Lord, help us to understand the vision you gave John. Thank you for your wonderful promises to those who are faithful to you.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Fri.’s Devo - God’s Judgment
Read: Hosea 10:1-14:9; Jude 1:1-25; Psalm 127:1-5; Proverbs 29:15-17
The first line tells you everything. The more prosperous the people became, the more resources they spent on their foolish idols. They claimed they had no king because they didn’t fear God, but they didn’t want to change their ways. They wouldn’t have been able to trust a king because there was no justice. He would have just spouted out empty promises he would not have been able to keep.
*** The people of Samaria worshipped a golden calf at Beth-aven. Beth-aven means “House of Vanity”. They would mourn when this idol gets carted away to Assyria. They will feel hopeless with out it.
*** God would call for the armies of nations to attack them because of their multitude of sins. God would cause Israel and Judah to break up the hardness of their hearts and plant seeds of righteousness instead. They had cultivated a lifestyle of wickedness and lies. They believed that great armies could make their nation safe and now they lived in terror of internal war.
*** When Israel was young, God loved him and called him out of Egypt. The more God called to him. the farther he moved away from him. Since they refused to let God be their father, he would force them to serve Assyria. Israel will not totally be destroyed because one day Israel will honor the Lord and follow him. They will come from the places they were scattered and bring them home.
*** Judah was still faithful to the Lord. But the people of Israel chased after lies and violence followed. They made an alliance with Assyria while courting Egypt. He will be payed back for his deceitfulness. Their craftiness would be exposed. God sent his prophets to warn them but they refused to give up their idols worship.
*** There was a time when the people listened to the tribe of Ephraim and Ephraim was an important tribe. But, Ephraim had turned to worshiping Baal sealing their destruction.
*** God had made it clear when they came out of Egypt that they must acknowledge no other God’s but him. They had become proud and forgot Him and now they would be judged and destroyed. When this happens all the things they trusted in like their wealth will be taken away.
*** God cried out to them through Hosea to return to the Lord and confess their sins. If they asked for forgiveness and truly repented then God would heal them of their unfaithfulness. God would refresh them and cause them to blossom and have deep roots. They would live under the shade of the Most High and prosper once more as their soul prospered.
*** In Jude, he addresses what today is called “greasy grace”. It is the teaching that since we live in the time of grace, we can sin and just ask God to forgive us and it will all be okay. This teaching denies Christ. God had rescued the nation of Israel from Egypt but he destroyed those who did not remain faithful. God also punished the angels who came to earth and had sex with the women of the earth in Genesis 6. They are being chained in prisons of darkness awaiting their day of judgment. Sodom and Gomorrah were full of immorality and sexual perversion and they were destroyed by fire. All of these stand as a picture of God’s fiery judgment.
*** There were those among them that used their spiritual gifts to get power over the people yet they lived immoral lives, defied authority and scoffed at demons. Even Michael dared not accuse the devil but used the Lord’s name to rebuke him. These people scoffed at things they didn’t understand. They followed their instincts which lead to their own destruction. They murder,ed deceived for money and rebelled. They talked a great spiritual talk but their words were empty because their hearts were not pure.
*** Enoch had prophesied about these people saying that the Lord woillcome with countless thousands of his holy ones to execute judgement on the people of the world. He will convict everyone of their sins.
*** These people grumble, complain, and live only for their own desires. They brag and flatter others to get what they want. These are the ones the apostles tole them about. They would bring division among God’s people.
*** But we are not these people. We must show mercy to them and try to rescue them from sin but we must build one another up in faith and the power of the Holy Spirit.
*** Lord, may we do all for your glory. You are able to keep us from falling and bring us with great joy into your glorious presence., We give you all the glory.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Thurs.’s Devo - God Tears Down and He Rebuilds
Read: Hosea 6:1-9:17; 3 John 1:1-15; Psalm 126:1-6; Proverbs 29:12-14
Hosea knew God’s pattern. He tears own and then he rebuilds. He encouraged Israel and Judah to quickly repent so that God could begin restoring them. God had sent his prophets to cut down the sin in their hearts and to show the people that God didn’t want just their sacrifices, he wanted their hearts. He wanted to know them and for them to know him as their king and father. Instead, they were like Adam who broke God’s covenant and betrayed his trust.
*** They murdered as a part of their idol worship. The sins of Samaria were too great and the idol worship in Ephraim was detestable. The king desired wickedness for entertainment. Their sin blinded them to their dying condition. They were so arrogant they didn’t even try to find God.
*** At first, they went to Egypt for help against their enemies and then they aligned with Assyria. They looked for help everywhere but to the Lord, the only one who could help them. Now, it is too late.
*** God rejected the golden calf they made in Samaria and it must be smashed to bits. Their harvests are small and what they geo ended up in the enemies’ hands.
*** Hosea defined the job of the prophet. Israel had thought the prophets were crazy and foolish. But Hosea described the prophet as a watchman over Israel for the Lord. He faced traps and hostility even in the house of the Lord. God will avenge the prophets because they said what he told them to say.
*** Hosea saw their wickedness and how they refused to repent and prayed that they would be barren or if they did conceive, their children would be taken from them.
*** The Lord said that their sin began at Gilgal. Gilgal was a place where they had made a covenant twice to return to the Lord. Now, it had become a place of idol worship and abomination. God promised to do what Hosea had prayed - slaughter their children. They would become wanderers and homeless among the nations. They would be a people without a country.
*** John wrote his third letter to Gaius. He had gotten news that they were faithful and holding on to the truth. They made John elated with joy. He told them how it pleased God when they welcomed the traveling teachers. He encouraged them to support them so they could continue their ministry. There was one leader named Diotrephes who refused to welcome the traveling teachers. He was making evil accusations against them. John encouraged them not to follow his example.
*** Lord, help us to be examples to the next generation of faithfulness, humility and truth. We pray for repentance in our nation and your restoration and healing for the nations.
I have always loved to study the Bible and look for hidden meanings to know God better. I think God hides things and shares them with those who will spend the time seeking them out. Wed.’s Devo - The Charge
Read: Hosea 4:1-5:15; 2 John 1:1-13: Psalm 125:1-5: Proverbs 29:9-11
Hosea brought a charge to the people. God was charging them with being unfaithful, unkind and not knowing him. They lied, killed and committed adultery. The land God had given them mourned their sins and everyone was dying without God. Even the animals were dying. The priests worshiped idols insta of God.
*** Their daughters became prostitutes and adulterers. Hosea addressed the priests, the leaders and members of the the orally family. They would be judged for leading Israel to worship idols. They were stubborn and rebellious and refused to repent and turn back to God. God would refuse to meet with them.
*** The leaders had become thieves, but the people were just as determined as them to worship idols. They went to the Assyrians for help but they couldn’t help them.
*** They world be left to themselves until they realized it was their own fault they were weak from their sins. When they were ready to admit it was their sins that made them sick, then they would begin to search for God once more.
*** John addressed a letter to a woman named Martha. She and her family were prominent people of the city who the deceivers were trying to entice them away from the truth about Christ. The doctrine of these deceivers included their belief that Christ hadn’t come in the flesh. They were antichrists. John encouraged Martha and her family to receive their full reward and believe the truth of Christ.
*** Anyone who remains in the truth has both the Father and the Son. They have no fellowship with people who believe otherwise.
*** John had more to say, but would keep that till her returned in person.
*** Lord, may we remain in the truth of your Word and your Spirit

Tues.’s Devo - Hosea
Read: Hosea 1:1-3:5; 1 John 5:1-21; Psalm 124:1-8; Prov. 29:5-8
Hosea prophesied during the time when Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekieah were kings in Judah and Jeorboam was king in Israel. At the beginning of Hosea’s ministry, God told him to marry a prostitute and have some children born out of her prostitution. Hosea chose Gomer as his wife. Their relationship would illustrate to the people how Israel had acted toward God.
*** Gomer became pregnant and God told Hosea to name the son Jezebel. God was going to begin to punish the dynasty of Jehu for the murders he committed at Jezebel. God was bringing an end to Israel’s independence. Its military power would be brought down in the Jezebel Valley.
*** Gomer became pregnant again and had a daughter. God said she would be called Lo-ruhamah which means “not loved”. God would no longer show love to the people of Judeah. He would not longer free them from their enemies in war.
*** Gomer had another son and he was to name him Lo-ammi which means “not my people” for Israel is not Gods people and God was not their God.
*** Israel would become a great populous nation and at the place where God said they were not his people, it would be said that they were his people. Then Judah and Israel would unite as one and choose one leader. They would drop the “Lo” from their names and become “loved” and “his people”.
*** To Israel, God said for her to take off all her idyllic symbols and repent. If she refused, then God would leave her to die in her spiritual wasteland. Israel didn’t remember that it was the Lord who blessed her and made her great. She forgot him and followed after Baal instead.
*** But, the Lord would win her back and she would claim the Lord as her God. GOd would make a covenant with the wild animals so they wouldn’t hurt them and he would remove their weapons of war from the land. Ashe would be his wife forever. God would plant a new crop of Israelite and God would love the as His people.
God told Hosea to go and buy his wife out of prostitution and love her again as a sign, He told Gomer she had to stay in his house and stop her prostitution. She was not to have sex with anyone, even him for a time. This was to show that Israel would go a long time without a king, but one day, they would return. In the last days they would tremble in awe of the Lord and his good ness.
*** John continues his teaching on love. Going God means that we keep his commandments. Every child of God defeats evil with his faith.
We have been given three witnesses that Jesus Christ is the Son of God - the Spirit, the water and the blood. God’s Spirit came visibly upon Jesus at his baptism in water. Jesus shed his blood on the cross. God himself testified about his son many times with voices from heaven ad all the words of the prophets.
*** If we believe in Jesus Christ, we can have confidence in our salvation. We can know that he hears and answers our prayers.
*** John talks about a sin that leads to death which is entering. As God’s children we will not have to worry about that. We don not make a practice of sinning because we re being held in Jesus’ hands.
*** Lord, may we keep away from anything that might try to take the place of God in our hearts.

Mon.’s Devo - The Glorious End
Read: Daniel 1136-12:13; 1 John 4:1-21; Psalm 123:1-4; Proverbs 29:2-4
Antiochus made himself to be the god of gods and forbade the worship of Jehovah and even the women-worship of Venus. He honored those who agreed with him and attacked any nation who didn’t. Strangely, he defended those who believed in saint worship.
*** He appointed his men to rule over Israel and divided up its land for his purposes. He died in the Persian town Tabes in 164 B.C.
*** Daniel sees the last battles that bring down the Greek empire and bring the rise of the Roman empire. Antiochus battles till the end but will not be able to stop his own death. He dies never having accomplished world dominance.
*** Then Michael stands up to defend Israel. It will be a great and terrible time, but all whose names are written in God’s book will be rescued. People will awaken out of their stupor and either come to repentance or choose everlasting contempt. Those that are wise will choose Christ.
*** Daniel was told to seal up the meaning of this prophecy until closer to the time. Then, people’s awareness would increase. God will have his angels on both sides of the equation and in between. The one in the middle above the waters answered the question to how long this oppression would continue. He said it would be for times, times and half a time. Then the shattering of the holy people would finally come to an end.
*** Many would be cleansed through all their trials and many would remain wicked. From the time Antiochus offered the pig on the altar until Judas Maccabeus restored the worship of God was 1,290 days. Forty-five days later, Antiochus died making it 1335 days.
*** Daniel was told to rest and at the end of the days, he would rise again to receive the inheritance set aside for him.
*** John tells us how we can know if a person is a false prophet. A true prophet must claim Jesus was God’s son sent to save the world through the death and resurrection. If they can’t claim that, then they are false prophets. They have the spirit of Antichrist. That spirit is coming again in the end.
*** Those who belong to God have already won a victory because the Spirit lives inside of us. Those that belong to God listen to the truth and it resonates with them.
*** We are to occupy until Christ comes and we do that by loving others as Christ loves us. God is love and He is in us so we can love others through Him. *** Lord, may we be aware of the times we are living in and stay awake and aware. Thank you for people who have risen to bring us truth and clarity. Thank you for putting clues for us in your Word and giving us hope and encouragement. You never leave us or forsake us.

Sun.’s Devo - The Antichrist
Read: Daniel 11:2-35; 1 John 3:7-24; Psalm 122:1-9; Proverbs 29:1
As Daniel continues his vision of the future it becomes very detailed. He describes to a tee the next kings and the rise of the Antichrist. *** The narrative shifts to only the part that includes Israel and tells of the battle between Egypt and Syria. Israel was sandwiched between them and became a battlefield of many of their wars.
*** When Antiochus Epiphanies of Syria comes to reign he has a definite hate toward the Jewish people and their capital. He attacked Jerusalem on one of his expeditions killing 50,000, taking another 40,000 prisoners and selling another 40,000 as slaves. He also entered the sanctuary shouting blasphemies and took the gold and silver vessels. He sacrificed a pig on the altar and sprinkled the altar with pig broth throughout the Temple.
*** They cleaned up the Temple but the high priest at the time was very evil. He stopped the practice of circumcism and the holy days. He instigated the worship of Greek idol worship. All of this was to please Antiochus Epiphanies. Antiohus had a temple to the god Jupiter Olympus constructed where the temple once was and claimed to be Jupiter. He had planned that the worship of himself would become the one world religion.
*** But, God always has a remnant and they were the Maccabbees. They prevailed against the Antichrist of their day and won. Many were persecuted and Jerusalem eventually fell to the Romans.
*** John makes it very clear that a Christian cannot practice sinning because God’s life or DNA is now in them. IF they do, they show that they are the children of the devil.
*** He gives us the example of Abel and Cain. Cain was a murderer from the beginning. Abel blessed God and was righteous. If we love God, the world will hate us.
*** We prove we love God by loving our brothers and sisters in the Lord.
We act this out with acts of compassion and generosity.
*** Lord, we believe that you sent your son, Jesus Christ to die for us and save us for your glory. May we love one another in a way that pleases you.

Sat.’s Devo - Daniel’s Vision
Read: Daniel 9:1-11:1; 1 John 2:18-3:6; Psalm 121:1-8; Proverbs 28: 27-28
It was the first year of the reign of Darius the Mede who became the king of Babylon. Daniel had just read in Jeremiah’s prophecies that Jerusalem would lie desolate for 70 years. It upset Daniel so much that he fasted and prayed. He repented for his people’s rebellion and how they had scorned the prophets and their words. He confessed that they had sinned and were so ashamed. All the curses in Deuteronomy had fallen on them because of their sins. He cried out for mercy for Jerusalem and its people.
*** That evening at the time of the evening sacrifice, Gabriel came to talk with Daniel. He confirmed that Jerusalem had to lay dormant for 70 years to end their atonement of their sins. From the time the commandment is given to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Messiah comes will be 67 weeks. The street and the wall will be built in troublous times.
*** After 62 weeks the Messiah would be killed appearing to have accomplished nothing. A ruler will arise whose armies will destroy the city and the Temple. Miseries are decreed from that time to the very end. The ruler will make a treaty with the people for one set of seven but in the middle of the time, he will stop all the sacrifices and offerings. He will set up a sacreligious object that causes desecration until the end of this mans life, which is determined by God.
*** In the third year of Cyrus reign, Daniel had another vision about the end times. He had fasted for three weeks.
*** At the end of the fast he was standing on the bank of the Tigris River when he saw a man dressed in linen with a belt of pure gold,. His body looked like a precious gem and his face flared like lightning. His eyes flamed like torches. His arms and feet looked like polished bronze.
*** The men with Daniel saw it and ran to hide. Daniel fainted and lay on the ground until the man touched him and lifted him up. He told him to stand and hear what he had to say. It had taken him 21 days to get there because he had to fight the Prince of Persia. Michael came to help him and they prevailed. He came to tell him what would happen in the latter days. When he left he would have to fight the Prince of Persia again and then the Prince of Greece which was the next ruling power to come. He told him that Michael was the only one who helped him and called Michael, Daniel’s spirit prince. He had been standing and supporting Michael since Darius the Mede had come to power.
*** John calls the people who left the church, antichrists. He warned them of many more antichrists that would come. He identifies an antichrist as anyone who denies the Son and doesn’t have the Father.
*** John encourages us to remain faithful to the basic truths of the Bible. We also have the Holy Spirit that lives inside us to teach us what is true. It teaches us all we need to know. We have nothing to worry about if we remain in fellowship with Christ.
*** We are God’s children and one day will get our heavenly bodies and we will see God as he really is. Now, we are to remain pure like God. Since sin is contrary to the law of God, anyone who continues to live in Christ will not sin But anyone who keeps on sinning does not know him or understand who he is.
*** Lord, may we get this in our hearts so that we will fight without any hindrances and condemnation. We accept the atonement that Christ made for us on the cross and we will walk in victory.

Fri.’s Devo - The Last Kingdoms
Read: Daniel 8:1-27; 1 John 2:1-17; Psalm 120:1-7; Proverbs 28:25-26
It was the third year of King Belshazzar’s reign. Daniel was taken in the Spirit to the fortress of Susa which was located beside the Ulai River in the province of Elam.
*** He saw a ram with two long horns. One of the horns was longer than the other and with his horns he butted everything to the west, north and south. No one could stand against him or aid his victims. He became very powerful.
*** Suddenly a male goat appeared from the west traveling so fast it didn’t touch the ground. With its one horn, it attacked the two-horned ram in a rage. The got broke off both the horns of the ram and knocked him the ground and trampled him. The goat became very powerful.
*** In the height of its power, its horn was broken off and four horns grew in its place. They ruled a different direction of the earth. A smaller horn grew from one of these horns and became very great and its power grew toward the south and east and toward the land of Israel. Because of this, war was waged in the heavenlies and this man opposed God himself. He cancelled the daily sacrifices and destroyed the Temple. The army of heaven was restrained from responding.
*** Daniel heard two holy ones asking how long this would be allowed to go on and the answer they got was: 2,300 evenings. Then the Temple would be made right again.
*** While Daniel was trying to make some sense of this, Gabriel was sent to tell him the interpretation. Daniel lay flat on the ground until Gabriel lifted him to his feet. He explained that the two-horned ram was the kings of Media and Persia. The goat was the king of Greece (Alexander the Great). The large horn was the first king of the Greek Empire. It would break into four kingdoms.
*** At the end of their rule, when sin is at its height, a fierce king will rise to power. He will become very powerful and be a master of intrigue and description. He will take on the Prince of princes in battle but will lose.
*** This man was Antiochus Epiphanies who was a ruthless hater of God’s people. He sacrificed a pig on God’s altar in Jerusalem and was full of Satan’s power.
*** Daniel was to seal up this vision because it would not happen for a long time. Daniel was physically sick after he had this vision.
*** John gives us a test to see who loves God. It is those who obey his laws. If we truly love God, we will live as Jesus did. Another test is if a person hates a fellow believer. If he does, he is still walking in darkness. Those who love other believers are walking in the light.
***The third test is a person’s love of the world. The world offers only a craving for physical pleasure and the things we see. To love God above all this is the only way to true salvation and joy.
*** Lord, may our affections be for you and your kingdom above all else. Open our eyes to the deception of everything that glitters and shines.
